SNAP-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is a topical cosmetic peptide. It works on the same SNARE signalling that botulinum toxin targets, softening the muscle contractions behind expression lines, but from the surface of the skin.
Preparing and storing: supplied as a freeze-dried powder. Add bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently rather than shaking. Keep the mixed vial in the fridge and out of light; sealed vials keep longest in the freezer.
